 I contacted Kent Loft Conversions to fit a kitchen and update my dining room. I have lived in the house for 4 years and the kitchen especially was in serious need of repair. Mark visited my home and after giving me the estimate kept in touch with me to ensure the requirements were satisfactory.

They completed the work in 2 weeks and completely transformed the home. A skylight was erected in the roof, the tiling was professionally laid, the plastering was smooth and the wooden floors were of excellent quality. I went on holiday for the second week of the renovations and returned to see the furniture displayed with pictures on the wall the kitchen in place.

With plans to refurbish our downstairs cloakroom and kitchen and extend the living accommodation with a loft conversion, it was pleasing to find a company that could take on all these work areas. The website showed very positive feedback and gave good quality examples of the work carried out by Kent Loft Conversions Ltd. Site visits and surveys were swiftly carried out and quotes were favourable. We had the downstairs cloakroom completely refitted in October 2007 with a new toilet, sink and radiator along with new floor and wall tiles and a repaint. The old suite was removed and disposed of for us. Work started on the kitchen refurbishment 12 days before Christmas. With the need to remove all kitchen units and appliances together with the floor tiles I was doubtful that I would be able to cook the Christmas dinner at home that year. Mark Petrov and his team were punctual and diligent and worked swiftly to remove the old units. They kept us well informed throughout the work and ensured the minimum disruption and fuss by cleaning up after themselves each day. They were able to offer weekend working if this suited us, which it did, to ensure faster completion. Whilst being without a kitchen for a few days was a little inconvenient, the essential elements had been completed by Christmas day and I was able to cook dinner in my new kitchen. Mark used the Christmas break wisely, by becoming a father, and was back to tile the floor and walls early in the new year. We also needed some extensive electrical work with the fitting of a new fuse box and electrical inspection and certification for the whole house. Mark put us in touch with an electrician who also did an excellent job and was both polite and efficient.

We are happy to recommend Kent Loft Conversions Ltd. to anyone contemplating building work in their homes. Our neighbour has already made contact for similar work to be carried out next door. We are also happy to continue using Kent Loft Conversions Ltd. for major work on our loft conversion in a few months time.
