Many thanks to Mark and Martin for doing such an amazing job on our loft conversion. Thanks also to Chris who carried out the electrical work. We cannot fault their workmanship; they were trustworthy, hard working and some days we didn't even know they were there! They always cleared up after themselves so we never felt that the work was intrusive to the rest of the house. We now have a huge 4th bedroom, a lovely en suite shower room, and a beautifully finished staircase upstairs. We really appreciated Mark's suggestions on the finishing touches, he is very creative and really knows what he is talking about. We had the final inspection from the building inspector and he could not fault the work. The whole process went very smoothly and we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. We are so pleased that they will be returning later on in the year to do our single storey extension at the back of the house.

 Kent loft Conversions were asked to build a dormer conversion to our two bed semi. We are absolutely delighted with the results.  
Mark is brimming with ideas so if you have any doubts on the best way forward he will have all the answers you need.

We asked for a complete design, including on suite, to fulfil a range of requirements.

He presented us with a virtual video of his concept which gave us complete confidence. 
Once work begins expect progress to be made at an astonishing rate.

These guys work seriously hard especially in the early stages when the roof is at the mercy of the weather.

A ten to twelve hour day was the norm and weekends too if required. The whole project was completed in about six to seven weeks. 
The standard of workmanship is very high as is the attention to detail.

You cannot avoid a lot of mess with such an undertaking but the last job of every day was a good clean up.

Mark and his team are friendly and accommodating at all times; our three year old daughter was very relaxed in their company.

We called Kent Kitchen Fitters in for a quote shortly after we bought our property after finding them online. We called them first as we liked the idea of a fixed price and a fixed time frame for a job. Mark, came out to give us a quote several days later. Within a few minutes of meeting him, we already felt comfortable and could see his ideas for the kitchen were inline with what we had in mind and he even suggested improvements such as under cupboard lighting and inset lights that we hadn't thought would be included in the price of the job. He gave us a quote on the day, which we were happy with so went ahead to book Mark in to do the job. Our kitchen was a total mess and one of the smallest kitchens we had ever seen – when we bought the house, there had been four lads living in the house and although they had done a fantastic job on the rest of the house – they had not done anything with the kitchen and it was a major drawback with the house. Mark came for a second time before he started the work just to clarify everything we wanted and let us know all the accessories we needed to buy. The job was completed by Mark himself and Martin, who were here by 8am every morning and didn't leave until at least 6.30pm every evening, sometimes until 8pm even on Friday night! They were here for a total of 8 working days and we couldn't fault them at all. They were very clean and tidy (we had previously had carpets laid upstairs and they always took their shoes off to go upstairs even though we had dustsheets down.) They hardly took a lunch break and we felt very confident about leaving them in the house alone – of which we did on many occasions. Overall Kent Kitchen Fitters totally transformed our kitchen – from a room we absolutely hated and were embarrassed to bring people round to one that we absolutely love and can't wait to show it off! They did everything from taking the old kitchen out, pulling all the existing tiles and plasterboard down (including the ceiling), removing an old unused chimney breast, plaster boarding the walls and ceiling, inset lighting, flooring, tiling, assembling the units, all electrics and plumbing, painting and finishing. We were particularly impressed by several tasks Mark offered to do which we never imagined would be included in the price – inset lights into the plinth, hand carving two chopping boards from off cuts of our worktop, creating new door frames from the dining room and utility areas into and out of the kitchen. We have already discussed the next job that Mark and Martin from Kent Kitchen Fitters are going to do for us and we cannot wait to have them back. It was a pleasure having them in to do the job and we would not hesitate to recommend these multi-skilled craftsmen to anyone else who is thinking of having a large project done in their property because these guys are true professionals.

Just a quick note to thank you for the fantastic job you did in our kitchen. We were both very impressed by your efficiency and attention to detail, right from the estimate to finishing the job - a day ahead of schedule too and it has really transformed the room. When my husband and I first started talking about making changes to our kitchen roof I was quite hesitant about having building work done in the house - namely vaulting the roof and having velux windows and spotlights put in.  This was a first time for me and we have two very young children and a dog so was worried about the inconvenience.  We approached several builders for quotes - one of whom was a neighbor who still hasn't come back to us and the work is already done!  Then a friend highly recommended Mark and his company to us and then the adventure began.  Mark actually contacted us and came the very next day to begin discussions,  He came in with a "can do" attitude and was very friendly and professional.  He gave us a rough idea to start with and guidance on where to buy certain materials such as lights.  He also came up with some ideas of his own which we hadn't even considered.  By that evening he had emailed us a very reasonable written quote and a start date and with that we agreed as we couldn't have hoped for more.
 
Throughout the project Mark and Martin were an absolute pleasure to have around - the kids and the dog especially loved them.  They worked with speed and efficiency and never seemed to tire even working in the sun!  The pleasure they take in their work, their commitment to their trade and their passion for their craftsmanship was a breath of fresh air.  We gave Mark and Martin the freedom to express their ideas in our kitchen and they did not let us down and far exceeded our expectations. Our kitchen is now more a work of art than just a building project. What was more rewarding was to see the pleasure on their faces looking back at their work.  I would not hesitate to recommend Kent Loft Conversions to anyone but really it is Mark and Martin that make the company.  I would not use anyone else and indeed they are already working on several more projects for us once I can stop looking at our kitchen ceiling!
